You can turn the leftover peel from the apple into a delicious, wintry apple tea in just a few steps. For this, you also need a cinnamon stick and some lemon juice or sugar.

  2. Place the tray in the sun or on the heater for a few hours.
  3. Once the apple peels are dry, you can put them in a sealable jar and add a cinnamon stick.
  4. If you want to prepare tea, you need a tablespoon of the apple peel. Put this in a cup and then fill it up with hot water.
  5. Then wait about five minutes so that the tea can take on an aromatic apple flavor.
  6. You can then add a little more lemon or sugar, depending on your taste.

For the healthy chips, you need the peel of 5 apples, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.

  2. Now let the mixture boil.
  3. Then turn the heat down to low, put the lid on the pot, and let the liquid simmer for about three-quarters of an hour.
  4. Now pass the mixture through a sieve.
  5. Then add the lemon juice and put the finished lemonade in the fridge.
