Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour, smooth
  • 210 g butter
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g walnuts, ground
  • e.g. powdered sugar
  • e.g. vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Combine all ingredients to form a smooth dough. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Then shape into croissants. Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 7-10 minutes, until lightly browned. Check frequently after 5 minutes, as they burn easily! Let cool briefly, but while still lukewarm, dust with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar.
