Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 400 g flour
- 120 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 lemon(s), grated peel
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 4 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp cream
- some sugar, coarse
- Flour , for the work surface
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes
Combine butter, flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon juice and zest, and 1 egg to form a shortcrust pastry. Wrap in foil and chill for 1 hour. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out stars. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Mix 2 egg yolks with 3 tablespoons of cream, brush over the stars, and sprinkle with coarse granulated sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
