Vanilla Mocha Cream

The perfect vanilla mocha cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Vanilla cream:

  • 500 ml Milk 3.5%
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 1 piece Chicken egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar fine
  • 1 packet Vanilla custard powder
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack Gelatin powder, white

Mocha cream:

  • 0,666667 the above Vanilla cream
  • 1 piece Fresh egg whites
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp Coffee powder mocha
  • 6 drops Taste of rum

Dessert surface decoration:

  • 6 piece Cocktail cherries
  • 1 tube Sugar writing (gelatine), white
  • 2 tbsp Chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp Plum jam

Vanilla cream:

  1. First pour the milk into a saucepan, remove 6 tablespoons of cold milk, stir together with the pudding powder, egg yolk, rum flavor and gelatin powder, add 3 tablespoons of cream and mix well again. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil and then quickly remove it from the hot plate and add the previously mixed pudding powder with the whisk. Take 8 tbsp for the mocha cream. Pour everything into cold portion bowls and let cool down well.

Mocha cream:

  1. Mix a small remaining amount of 6-8 tbsp of the mixture with egg white, soluble coffee powder and cocoa and pour the second mixture onto the vanilla cream as a decorative spot on top. Let everything cool down well.

Decorate:

  1. The cream can be decorated with plum jam, chopped almonds and sugar script. Finally add the cocktail cherries.
