Vanilla – poppy – raspberry – stars

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g Flour (wholemeal spelled flour)
  • 75 g cane sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 4 tbsp poppy seeds (poppy seed baking mix)
  • 5 tbsp jam (raspberry jam)
  • possibly powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a dough from wholemeal spelt flour, baking powder, cane sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, the egg, butter, and poppy seed flour. Chill for about 30 minutes. Roll out on a floured surface (approx. 0.3 to 0.5 cm) and cut out half of each star completely, and cut out another small star in the center of half of the stars. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at about 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 9 minutes until light brown. After baking, immediately spread the smooth raspberry jam over the entire stars (just right up to the edge!), place the stars with the hole on top, and press down lightly. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after cooling, if desired.
