Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 25 g sugar
  • ½ vanilla pod(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Basic recipe

Mix 5 tablespoons of milk with the cornstarch. Split the vanilla pod, add it to the remaining milk, and let it steep for about 20 minutes. Now remove the seeds from the pod and add them to the milk. Add the sugar to the vanilla milk and bring everything to a boil. Finally, stir in the cornstarch mixture and let it cool.
