Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 heart(s) (veal heart), approx. 300 g
- Salt
- Pepper, white, from the mill
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
- 20 g butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 pinch of garlic powder
- ½ bunch flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Clean the veal heart (remove veins, skin and fat), cut into 2 cm thick slices. Season the heart slices with salt and pepper, place them on 2 skewers, brush all over with oil and grill in a preheated oven/grill setting for 25 minutes, turning frequently. Heat butter in a saucepan, fry the diced onions for 5 minutes until browned, stir in lemon juice, cream and parsley, remove from heat, season to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder and serve separately.
