Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 ml water
  • 30 g oat flakes
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 80 g apple sauce, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a tall container; a wide measuring cup works well for this. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a spoon. Let the mixture rest for 10-20 minutes to allow the oats to swell. Then puree the mixture with a hand blender until you have a smooth pancake batter. Use a crepe pan or crepe maker for cooking. Alternatively, use a frying pan with a little oil. Preheat the pan thoroughly and then set it to medium heat. Add one tablespoon of batter to each pancake and cook until nicely browned on both sides. Serve the pancakes with fresh fruit of your choice. Approx. 200 kcal per serving.
