Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g mushrooms, large
  • 150 g cream cheese substitute with herbs, vegan
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs, e.g. rosemary and oregano
  • e.g. garlic powder
  • e.g. paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Break the stems off the mushrooms and set them aside. Then dice the stems into small pieces and fry them in a pan with a little oil. Once the stems have cooled slightly, mix them with the cream cheese and season with salt and pepper. If desired, you can add other herbs and spices such as rosemary, oregano, garlic powder, or paprika. Then stuff the mixture into the mushrooms. Place the mushrooms on the grill for about 10-15 minutes. Tip: If you prefer a vegetarian dish, you can use regular herb cream cheese. Meat lovers can fry some bacon and mix it in. The mushrooms can also be prepared a few hours in advance. They are a great side dish and always a popular addition to barbecues.
