Ingredients

  • 400 g frozen Vegetable fries **
  • 4 marinated Meat skewers
  • 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 fully ripe Tomatoes
  • 1 half Onion in strips
  • 10 sun-ripened Black pitted olives
  • 10 sun-ripened Salt and pepper
  • 2 Pinches Dried salad herbs
  • 2 Pinches Good olive oil
  • Mayonnaise
  • Curry ketchup

Instructions

  • For the tomato plate: put the tomatoes in slices on a large dining plate and cover with a few strips of onion and halved olives. Sprinkle with a little salt, pepper and lettuce herbs and drizzle with a few drops of olive oil, then cool in the refrigerator and let it steep ... delicious!
  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° - cover a baking sheet with baking paper and distribute the frozen fries on it so that they do not touch each other as much as possible. Bake the fries for about 23 minutes.
  • At the same time, heat the oil in a pan and fry the skewers all around. Then place them in the stove with the vegetable fries - they should cook there for about 10 minutes.
  • Arrange the vegetable fries and meat skewers on plates and add a dollop of mayonnaise and ketchup each. I served this light meal on a hot summer's day with a well-chilled tomato platter.
  • ** Frozen vegetable fries are now everywhere ... they consist of carrots, parsnips and beetroot, taste extremely good and are also quite healthy!
