Spicy potato wedges

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, small (triplets)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 chili pepper(s), red
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Fondor
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash and drain the potatoes, then quarter them. Dice the chili pepper and garlic. Add a little olive oil to a pan and fry the potatoes slowly over medium heat until half cooked. Season with salt, pepper, Fondor, paprika, and chili powder. Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil to a baking tray or larger dish, then add the chili and garlic. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the potatoes on the baking tray or dish, mix well with the oil, chili, and garlic, and bake until tender and crispy, turning occasionally. Delicious with tzatziki, sour cream, or spring quark (preferably homemade), or with chops, schnitzel, and roasted belly pork.
