Vegetable sauce (for lasagna or spaghetti)

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 tomato(s), skinned or tomato paste
  • 1 large mushroom, fresh
  • 2 cups of cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Lasagna sheet(s) (without pre-cooking)
  • Cheese, for gratinating
  • Herbs, Italian
  • Broth, granulated
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

This sauce is perfect for a vegetable lasagna or with spaghetti. Dice the vegetables. Sauté the onion in olive oil. Add the vegetables and sauté briefly. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs, and pour in about 1 1/2 cups of cream. Season with broth to taste. The spaghetti sauce is ready. Lasagna: Pour a little cream onto the bottom of the baking dish, then layer the lasagna sheets, sauce, and grated cheese. The last layer should be cheese. Then place the lasagna in the oven at 200°C until the cheese is golden brown. Enjoy!
