Vegetable sausage pan with rice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can peas (or frozen)
  • 1 ring/s of meat sausage (poultry or pork)
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, chopped or peeled
  • 2 bags of rice
  • curry powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the rice in lightly salted water according to the package instructions and drain. Remove the sausage from its skin and dice it. Deseed the bell pepper and cut it into small strips. Peel and dice the onion. Place the peas and sweetcorn in a colander and let it drain. Fry the onions in hot oil, add the sausage cubes and fry them. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and plenty of curry powder. Add the sweetcorn, peas, and bell pepper pieces and fry briefly. Then add the tomato pieces to the pan and stir well. Finally, add the cooked rice and mix everything well.
