Vegetable – Sausage – Ragout

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 large potatoes
  • ½ pack of mixed vegetables (mixed frozen vegetables)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 sausages (Vienna sausages) or 1/2 meat sausage
  • ¾ liter broth
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 1 tbsp, leveled butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and dice the potatoes and cook in the broth for 20 minutes. Five minutes before the end of cooking, add the frozen vegetables and cook until cooked through. Slice or dice the sausage and fry in a little oil. Make a classic roux from butter and flour, stir it into the vegetables, and thicken the ragù. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Finally, stir in the fried sausage and serve.
