Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
simple, quick and delicious pear cake (Thermomix)
Place all of the ingredients for the dough in the mixing bowl and mix for 3 seconds/speed 6 until you have a shortcrust pastry. Line the base and sides of a greased 26cm springform pan with the dough, pulling the edges up as far as you can. Peel, core, and quarter the pears, or drain the canned ones and top the pastry with them. Place the remaining ingredients for the topping in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 seconds/speed 4, then spread over the pears. Caution: there is a lot of topping; the springform pan will be really full! Bake at 180°C for a total of 70 minutes. Insert the butterfly mixer for the icing. Put the egg whites and sugar in the mixing bowl and beat for 1.5 minutes/speed 3 until semi-stiff. Exactly 10 minutes before the end of the baking time, pour the icing onto the cake and pull up small peaks, then finish baking. As the cake cools, sparkling droplets will form. The cake can also be prepared with other fruits and tastes very delicious.
