Vegetable stew with smoked pork

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 head of savoy cabbage
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables (leeks, carrots, celery, parsley)
  • 1 turnip(s)
  • 2 large onions
  • 8 slices of smoked pork
  • 1 piece(s) bacon
  • e.g. vegetable broth
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cut all ingredients into cubes. Adjust the size to your taste and cook time. Brown the bacon with the onions and diced smoked pork. Add the vegetables and top with the broth until everything is covered. Simmer for about 30 minutes, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
