Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups of processed cheese, 200 g each
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 250 g tofu (paprika tofu) or soy melts, health food store
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 100 g corn
  • 150 g tomatoes, cut into pieces
  • 1 tbsp vegetable cream
  • 1 tbsp, heaped Ajvar
  • n. B. garlic
  • n. B. onion(s)
  • e.g. basil
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • possibly Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Simple and fast

Finely chop the garlic and sauté it with the onions in a large pot. Finely chop the tofu and add it. If using soy shreds, bring them to a boil in the broth first. Fry the tofu or the squeezed-out shreds for 3-5 minutes. Add the processed cheese and simmer over medium heat until it reaches a creamy or runny consistency. Add the mushrooms, corn, tomatoes, and ajvar and bring everything back to a boil. Finally, season to taste. Serve with toasted bread or baguette.
