Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g whole wheat spaghetti
- 16 cherry tomatoes
- 1 onion(s)
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 pack of shepherd’s cheese, approx. 250 g
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp honey
- Pepper, freshly ground
- Sea salt, coarse
- Herbs of Provence
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Prepare the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Heat olive oil in a deep pan and fry the finely chopped onion and half the garlic until lightly browned. Add the tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes. Season everything with sea salt, pepper, and honey. Add the tomato paste to the pan and fry for about a minute. Then add the cheese to the pan. Press in the other half of the garlic. Season the mixture with sea salt, pepper, Provençal herbs, and honey. Finally, add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss for about a minute.
