Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 3 chicken breasts
- 6 slices of raw ham
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 125 ml white wine
- 100 ml cream
- 150 g herb cream cheese
- 1 ½ tbsp mustard, medium hot
- 1 ½ tbsp oil for frying
- n. B. spice(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Clean the chicken breasts and season to taste. Briefly fry the chicken breasts in a pan, then wrap them in two slices of ham and place them side by side in a casserole dish. Sauté the diced onion in the fat from the chicken breasts until translucent, then deglaze with wine and cream. Add the cream cheese and mustard and season to taste. Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts and cook the poultry in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) or 180°C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes. Pasta or rice are suitable side dishes. Tip: Cut very large chicken breasts lengthwise.
