Vinegar with strawberries, elderberry and green pepper

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 1 liter white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp pepper, green
  • 6 elderflower umbels

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 12 days; Total time approx. 12 days 10 minutes

delicious, fruity and delicately floral

Pluck the blossom tips from the washed strawberries. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and place them in wide-mouthed jars with the green peppercorns. Pour the vinegar over the strawberries and peppercorns and let them steep for 1 week. Add the elderflowers and let the vinegar stand for another 5 days. Filter the vinegar and pour into tightly sealed bottles.
