- 30 g wild garlic or ground elder
- 100 ml walnut oil or pumpkin seed oil
- 50 g sunflower seeds
- 3 g mushrooms, dried
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated, use sparingly

Puree all ingredients in a food processor. Notes: This pesto enhances salads, soups, vegetables, pasta, rice, cheese, and ham. Stored in tightly sealed jars in a cool, dark place, the pesto will keep for at least 6 months. It always makes a great gift.
