Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 450 g beef goulash
- 1 tsp clarified butter
- 1 large onion(s), diced
- 4 cloves garlic, finely diced
- 2 tbsp, heaped Dijon mustard, grainy
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- 1 tbsp, heaped sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes
Brown the meat in hot clarified butter. Add the diced onion and garlic and sauté lightly. Add the mustard and let it simmer. Season with salt and pepper. Add enough water to just cover the meat. Cover and bake in an oven preheated to 130°C (260°F) for about 4 hours. Add more water if necessary, depending on the desired sauce consistency. Finally, top with sour cream and season to taste. Quenelles or potato dumplings are suitable side dishes.
