Waffles secret recipe

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g margarine or good butter
  • 160 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 150 ml condensed milk
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Very long lasting!!!

Whisk all ingredients except flour, baking powder, and milk until frothy and the sugar has dissolved. Combine the flour and baking powder and quickly stir in. Finally, stir in the condensed milk. Instead of condensed milk, you can also use 125 ml of sparkling mineral water and the juice of one lemon. I prefer the condensed milk version. Bake about 12 waffles in the waffle iron. Sprinkle sifted powdered sugar over the waffles. The waffles will keep (loosely) for 14 days in an airtight container. Variations: Delicious with jam or with hot cherries and vanilla ice cream.
