Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g floury potatoes
  • 120 g potato starch
  • 2 tbsp semolina (spelt semolina)
  • Salt
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Steam and peel the potatoes, then press them through a potato ricer. Knead into a dough with potato starch, spelt semolina, salt, and nutmeg. Mix everything together while still hot as quickly as possible. The dough should no longer stick; if not, add potato starch. Form dumplings and simmer in salted water for 20-25 minutes. This quantity makes 6 dumplings. It goes very well with venison goulash.
