Walnut Amaretto Pastries

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g walnuts
  • 180 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

makes about 40 cookies

Grind 100g of walnuts, then mix with flour and sugar. Add pieces of butter and Amaretto, chop everything up with a knife, and then quickly knead with your hands until smooth. Form walnut-sized balls from the dough and place them, leaving space between them, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Place half a walnut on each ball and press down. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven) for about 15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar. Makes about 40 cookies.
