Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 250 ml water
  • 250 g rock sugar, brown

Instructions

Home remedies made from onions and rock candy

Dice the onion and place it in a saucepan with the rock candy and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes in a covered pan. Stir once or twice during the process. Pour everything through a fine sieve and collect the juice, preferably in a glass jar with a screw top. Allow the cough syrup to cool. Swallow a tablespoon several times a day. The syrup will keep for 2-3 days and should be prepared fresh again afterward. It tastes good and helps!
