Walnut – Cinnamon – Cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 180 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 115 g butter (soft)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 75 g ground walnuts
  • 2 tsp, levelled cinnamon, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 190°C and line two baking sheets with baking paper. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Cream the softened butter with the sugar until creamy, then stir in the egg. Mix the walnuts and cinnamon on a plate. Now take walnut-sized pieces of dough and shape them into balls. I always weigh my balls to ensure they are evenly sized. They then weigh 17g. Once you’re all ready, roll them thoroughly in the walnut/cinnamon mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 5cm between the cookies. Bake in the oven for about 10-17 minutes. The bottoms should be golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack. The dough yields about 25 cookies.
