Walnut cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour
  • 100 g starch flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ½ tsp clove powder
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 100 g walnuts, ground
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g margarine or butter
  • n. B. Cake icing, (lemon glaze)
  • e.g. sugar sprinkles
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 2 minutes

Sift flour and baking powder and quickly knead with the remaining ingredients. Let rest for at least 30 minutes, then roll out and cut out shapes as desired. Bake on a greased baking sheet at 170-180 degrees Celsius for about 12 minutes. Remove from the oven when lightly browned; this time varies from oven to oven. Once the cookies have cooled, garnish with lemon glaze and sprinkles, if desired.
