Walnut Stars
The perfect walnut stars recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 240 g Flour
- 240 g Butter
- 140 g Powdered sugar
- 150 g Ground walnuts
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 250 g Citrusjelly
- Knead the flour, butter, powdered sugar, hazelnuts and milk with the dough hook of the hand mixer, then wrap in cling film and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured worktop and cut out stars. Cut a hole out of half of the biscuits with an apple cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C – top and bottom heat for approx. 12 minutes. Then let cool down well.
- Dust the perforated stars with powdered sugar. Brush the whole stars generously with lemon jelly and place a perforated cookie on top.
