Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 50 ml water, lukewarm
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 150 g flour
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g sugar, white or brown
  • 125 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

light yeast dough with crispy walnut crumbles

For the dough, sift the flour into a bowl and mix with the dried yeast, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Add the remaining ingredients and knead everything using a dough hook until you have a smooth dough that should no longer stick to the bowl. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, for the crumble, mix the flour, chopped walnuts, and sugar. Add the butter in small pieces and mix everything with a hand mixer or alternatively simply by hand until you have even crumbles of the desired size. Chill. Now transfer the risen dough to a greased springform pan and spread it out evenly. Let it rise for another 15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Spread the sour cream over the yeast dough and distribute the crumble as evenly as possible. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
