Warm plums with honey and ginger

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 large plums, not too soft
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • some ginger, freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp, heaped butter, cold
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 50 ml cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Halve and pit the plums. Place the halves upside down in a lightly buttered dish. Sprinkle the plums with sugar and drizzle with honey and ginger on each plum half. Top with a small knob of butter. Bake the plums in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, whip the cream until stiff, stir in the vanilla sugar, and mix with the crème fraîche. Place four plum halves on each plate and place the crème fraîche in the center. Garnish the dessert with a few mint leaves, if desired.
