- ½ bunch of spring onions
- 4 large jacket potatoes
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp, levelled cumin
- 1 lemon(s), (the juice)
- Salt
Instructions

Peel and dice the boiled potatoes. Finely chop the onion, slice the spring onions into rings, and dice the tomatoes. Combine everything in a large bowl and season with salt, cumin, lemon juice, and olive oil. Let stand for about 10-20 minutes. This salad is often served for breakfast in Syria alongside a boiled egg. It’s also delicious as a snack with bread rolls.
