- 6 Pc. Cherry tomatoes
- 1 Pc. Fresh shallot
- 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
- 1 shot Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 pinch Dried oregano
- 1 pinch Dried basil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
For garnish
- Cress (garden cress)
- Chives fresh
Instructions
"Gerichte-Geschichte"
- Paradeiser (tomatoes) on white or black bread, pure or grilled, are a popular snack (between meals) in both Austria and Hungary (meleg szendvics) that are quick and easy to prepare and, on top of that, inexpensive and above all very tasty.
ingredients
- Approx. 6-8 pieces of smaller tomatoes, best mixed. Olive or sunflower seed oil is suitable as an oil; we use hesperid or apple cider vinegar as vinegar.
preparation
- Quarter the tomatoes, mix with the remaining ingredients and let stand for about 10.
- Cut the bread in half, cover with the tomato mixture and grill in the oven at approx. 180 degrees hot air or grill.
- Garnish with cress and chives.
variation
- Brush the bread with butter and bake the tomato mixture with cheese.
