Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 m.-sized potatoes
  • 1 pack of yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 kg flour
  • 375 ml water, very hot
  • Fat, for the molds

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Potato skewers

Finely grate the raw potatoes and dissolve the yeast in them. Do not let it rise. Now mix the salt and eggs well. Add the flour all at once and immediately mix with the hot water. This should rise quickly. Divide the dough between two greased loaf pans. Do not let it rise, and place in a cold oven. Bake at 180-200°C for about 1 hour until golden brown. While the oven slowly heats up, the dough has plenty of time to rise. Let it cool completely and enjoy with butter and salt.
