Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 jar morello cherries
- 30 ml Grand Marnier or orange liqueur
- 250 g low-fat curd cheese
- 250 g cream cheese
- 100 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar, bourbon
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g pumpernickel
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp beetroot
- 100 g chocolate, coarsely grated, dark
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with pumpernickel and morello cherries
Let the drained morello cherries soak in the Grand Marnier for a few hours. Then drain again. Combine the low-fat and semi-skimmed quark with the sugar, bourbon vanilla sugar, and milk. Whip the cream until semi-stiff and fold in. Crumble the pumpernickel and mix with the honey and beetroot syrup. Fill a glass bowl or bowls. First, add half of the cherries, then half of the quark cream, then the pumpernickel, then sprinkle with approximately 30 g of the grated chocolate. Now add the remaining cherries, followed by the remaining quark mixture. Garnish with the remaining chocolate pieces just before serving.
