White almond butter

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Make your own light almond butter quickly and easily.

First, roast 200g of sliced almonds in a pan without fat. The almonds should only be lightly browned. While still warm, place them in a tall container and puree with a hand blender until creamy. I only puree 100g at a time. Pour or press everything into a preserving jar. 200g of sliced almonds yields about 190g of almond butter. The almond butter tastes great in fruit smoothies or as a spread with honey.
