Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 800 g asparagus, white
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g butter
  • possibly herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the asparagus and trim the ends. Place the asparagus spears in a bag, add salt, sugar, and butter, and vacuum seal. Cook in the steamer on rack level 3 using the “sous vide” program at 85°C for approximately 30 minutes. If you like, you can vacuum seal herbs such as basil, wild garlic, thyme, rosemary, or mint with the asparagus. But be careful! The flavor experience will be quite intense.
