Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g beans, white, dried
  • Water for soaking
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), green, pitted, diced
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), red, pitted, diced
  • 1 pepper, red, pitted, diced
  • 1 large can of tomatoes (approx. 400 g), diced
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • n. B. Pesto (basil-olive oil-garlic pesto)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 50 minutes

Soak the white beans in water overnight. Rub the soaked earthenware pot with pesto. Add the drained beans, bell peppers, chili peppers, and tomatoes. Cook for 2 1/2 hours at 180°C. Season with paprika and pepper to taste.
