White Chocolate Cake
The perfect white chocolate cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Soft butter
- 150 g Sugar
- 6 Pc. Egg yolk
- 6 Pc. Protein
- 200 g Flour
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 5 cl Grand Marnier
- 300 g Chocolate white
- 1 Pc. Orange
- 7,5 g Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- Melt the white chocolate
- Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff
- Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar well
- Add Grand Marnier and orange zest
- Stir the chocolate into the mixture
- Stir in flour with baking powder
- Carefully fold in the egg whites
- The cake can bake in a box (30-35cm) or springform pan (28cm diameter) at 170-180 degrees (depending on the type of oven) for about 50 minutes
- You can choose to top it with a white couverture or sprinkle with powdered sugar
- We added 25 grams of chocolate drops into the dough, unfortunately they sank to the bottom 😉
