White Chocolate Cake

The perfect white chocolate cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Soft butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 6 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 6 Pc. Protein
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 5 cl Grand Marnier
  • 300 g Chocolate white
  • 1 Pc. Orange
  • 7,5 g Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Melt the white chocolate
  2. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff
  3. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar well
  4. Add Grand Marnier and orange zest
  5. Stir the chocolate into the mixture
  6. Stir in flour with baking powder
  7. Carefully fold in the egg whites
  8. The cake can bake in a box (30-35cm) or springform pan (28cm diameter) at 170-180 degrees (depending on the type of oven) for about 50 minutes
  9. You can choose to top it with a white couverture or sprinkle with powdered sugar
  10. We added 25 grams of chocolate drops into the dough, unfortunately they sank to the bottom 😉
