Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 300 g hazelnuts, grated
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some wafers
  • Hazelnuts, chopped for decoration
  • Chocolate, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit). Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Combine the sugar and vanilla sugar and stir into the egg white mixture until dissolved. Then fold in the hazelnuts. Place the wafers on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and place a small amount of the egg white and hazelnut mixture on each wafer. Bake for approximately 20 minutes. Decorate the cooled meringue with chocolate and chopped hazelnuts.
