Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pair of white sausages
  • 1 tbsp pearl onions from the jar
  • ½ bunch chives
  • 1 pickle(s)
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • ½ tsp mustard, sweet
  • 1 handful of sliced ​​radishes, for garnishing
  • 1 shallot(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Soak the white sausages in hot water, drain well. Then peel off the skin and slice. Drain the pearl onions. Peel and dice the shallot. Rinse the chives, shake dry, and cut into rolls. Slice the gherkin. Place all ingredients in a bowl. In a small bowl, combine the dressing (vinegar, oil, a little onion juice from the jar, and mustard) and pour over the salad. Garnish with radish slices. Let stand for about an hour, stir thoroughly, and enjoy with fresh pretzels or brown bread.
