  • 200 g flour (wholemeal flour)
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 1 tbsp sweetener
  • 100 ml buttermilk or soy milk
  • 150 ml mineral water (seltzer)
  • ½ bag(s) of baking powder
  • 5 m.-sized apples
  • 250 g yogurt
  • 100 g quark
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with oat flakes and quark-yogurt foam

Put the ingredients for the dough/base into a bowl and knead vigorously. The dough may still be sticky, but it has to be that way. If you don’t like it, you can add flour. Transfer to a greased baking sheet (springform pan). For the topping, beat the quark and yogurt vigorously, then add the sugar, egg and cinnamon and spread a thin layer on the base. Cut the apples into wedges and top the cake. Dice the last apple and arrange the cubes on top. Now pour the rest of the quark and yogurt mixture on top. Bake the cake at 175°C (fan oven) for approx. 30-40 minutes.
