Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g low-fat curd cheese
- 3 eggs
- 200 g wholemeal flour
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Mix all ingredients into a smooth dough. Let it rest for ten minutes (or longer). Bring lightly salted water to a boil. Scoop out about 6-8 dumplings from the dough and add them to the boiling water. Let them stand for ten minutes. Delicious with savory vegetables, such as carrots, or sprinkled with cinnamon sugar in a sweet compote.
