Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 20 g yeast (1/2 cube or 1 sachet of dry yeast)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 150 g tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of spice mix (harissa, alternatively chili)
  • Seasonal vegetables as topping
  • 150 g cheese, grated

Knead the flour, water, yeast, salt, and olive oil into a yeast dough and line a round tart pan (springform pan) or a baking sheet. Let the dough rise in a warm place (15 minutes is enough). Meanwhile, mix the remaining ingredients to make the sauce. Carefully add the harissa! Spread the sauce over the risen dough and top with seasonal vegetables and your own favorites. If you like, you can sprinkle some grated cheese on top. Bake at 180°C in a convection oven for approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on the oven.
