Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 1 point yeast (dry yeast)
  • 200 ml water, lukewarm
  • 50 g margarine
  • 2 tsp herbal salt (e.g. health food store)
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 1 point smoked tofu with herbs
  • 1 point wheat protein (seitan)
  • 250 g cheese
  • herbs, fresh
  • Oil (olive oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Prepare a dough from flour, dry yeast, water, margarine, and herb salt. Let it rise in a warm place. Brush a baking sheet with olive oil and roll out the dough thinly with oiled hands. Season tomato paste as desired (e.g., with herb salt, pepper, or basil) and spread it on the base. Thinly slice the smoked tofu and dice the seitan, and place both on the base. Finally, sprinkle with grated cheese and garnish with plenty of fresh herbs. Bake in a preheated oven at 200-220 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes. Of course, other toppings also taste great on this pizza base.
