Whole wheat spaghetti with mushroom cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 500 g spaghetti (wholemeal)
  • 200 ml cream (also low-fat)
  • 50 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the onions and trim the mushrooms. Dice or finely chop both. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions and mushrooms until translucent or shriveled. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Add the cream and milk to the sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer the sauce until the pasta is done. Plate and serve.
