Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g whole wheat flour
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 pts. baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 carrots
  • n. B. seeds, e.g. sunflower seeds, linseed, whole oat flakes or similar.

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Without yeast

Grate the carrots coarsely or finely, depending on your taste. Then knead all the ingredients together thoroughly. Sunflower seeds, flaxseed, and oatmeal can be added to the dough, omitted, or replaced with other grains as desired. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and pour the bread dough into a loaf pan lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the bread with more seeds at this point. Place an ovenproof dish filled with water in the oven and bake the bread for 45 minutes.
