Wholemeal Spelled Bread without Waiting
The perfect wholemeal spelled bread without waiting recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 cube Fresh yeast
- 500 ml Lukewarm water
- 500 g Wholemeal spelled flour
- 50 g Sunflower or pumpkin seeds
- 50 g Flax seeds or sesame seeds
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Sunflower oil for the baking pan
- Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water
- Mix flour, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, salt and apple cider vinegar
- Stir in the yeast-water mixture and stir for 3 minutes with a hand mixer or food processor
- Grease the loaf pan with a little sunflower oil and fill in the dough (which is a bit runny) and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes, remove from the mold and bake for another 10 minutes
- If you want, you can add caraway seeds or bread spices to the dough before baking
