Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g almonds, peeled and slivered
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 125 g chocolate (dark), grated
  • 2 egg whites
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • possibly wafers

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the almonds with the sugar and spread them on a baking sheet. Roast in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 6-8 minutes. Then transfer them to a bowl and mix with the grated chocolate, then let them cool. Reduce the oven temperature to 150°C. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, add the powdered sugar, and continue beating until very stiff and glossy. Fold in the chocolate-almond mixture. Using 2 teaspoons, place small heaps of this mixture onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper or directly onto wafers and bake at 150°C for about 12-15 minutes.
