Wild Garlic Yogurt
The perfect wild garlic yogurt recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Natural yoghurt
- 250 g Lowfat quark
- 150 g Wild garlic fresh
- 150 g Cucumber fresh
- 3 tbsp Spelled flour
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Prepare the wild garlic and cucumber with the skin and chop them a little Put all ingredients in a suitable mixer. I use my wild garlic salt as the salt. I add the self-ground spelled flour to bind the yoghurt a little. Process everything in intervals until the wild garlic and the cucumber are chopped up. Can take a while, at least it is with my food processor. The wild garlic yogurt is ready.
- This wild garlic yogurt is quite tasty in itself and can also be used as a dressing for salads, e.g. iceberg or lamb’s lettuce. The salad can also be garnished with dried herbs, e.g. wild garlic.
- The wild garlic yogurt presented here is a suggestion. The cucumber can be omitted or replaced with other leafy and / or nuturous vegetables, e.g. iceberg or lamb’s lettuce, nettle, dandelion … The use of other spices and dried herbs should also be tried.
